01 — Training
Workshops delivered
Ten years of building production systems, translated into programs that can be taught. Every workshop integrates theory and practice, with a deliverable lab per session and a capstone project at the close.

Web application development with Spring Boot
Five days · Eight modules and a bonus
A REST API with Spring Boot 4 on Java 21, from container to deployment. The domain is not a toy: it is built on PEI, the integrative project evaluation platform, whose event has an eight-phase lifecycle — the same one used by science and entrepreneurship fairs.
Modules
- 01Introduction and workshop objectives
- 02Containers, Compose and devcontainers
- 03Spring ecosystem fundamentals — IoC and DI in depth
- 04Web and REST — the request cycle, Jackson, the pattern underneath
- 05Persistence — JPA, Hibernate and Spring Data: who is who
- 06Security — OAuth2, your API as a Resource Server
- 07Images and deployment — layers, Dockerfile, RUN vs CMD vs ENTRYPOINT
- 08Microservices — Conway's Law, modular monolith, the eight fallacies
- 09Bonus — browser application and the role matrix
Stack
- Spring Boot 4
- Java 21
- PostgreSQL
- Docker Compose
- Devcontainers
- OAuth2
- OpenTelemetry
- Grafana Tempo
Nobody installs Java or Maven: they live inside the container. Each day has a start and an end branch, so anyone who gets stuck can keep going. Slides are written in Marp and delivered as PDF.

Serverless architecture and voice computing with Alexa
Five modules · Capstone project
Voice interface design and real serverless architecture. How a user who speaks thinks differently from one who looks at a screen, and what building on ephemeral functions actually implies: cold starts, timeouts, secrets out of the code.
Modules
- 01Voice computing fundamentals — VUI, intents, utterances and slots
- 02Serverless architecture with AWS Lambda — lifecycle and handlers
- 03Consuming public APIs from Alexa — caching, retries, circuit breaker
- 04Private APIs and security — Account Linking, OAuth 2.0, Secrets Manager
- 05Persistence and integration — DynamoDB, CloudWatch, APL and publishing
Stack
- Alexa Skills Kit
- AWS Lambda
- Node.js
- DynamoDB
- CloudWatch
- OAuth 2.0
The capstone integrates the Skill with the UTXJ science fair system (PEI): querying projects, categories and schedules by voice.
Programs adapt to the curriculum and the level of the group. They can run as an intensive workshop, a semester course, or ongoing mentorship, and new ones are designed around the specific need of the institution.

03 — Experience
Where I have built
Technical architect at Tech Mahindra since 2022. The banking, media, and publishing projects are client engagements through that firm: systems where failure is measured in money or in credibility.

Citizens Bank Arizona, USA
Java Technical Architect · Forest & Redwood
Client engagement via Tech Mahindra
Cross-team architect across developer tooling and fraud prevention. Designed the end-to-end fraud detection flow with real-time alerts, ACID integrity, and sub-second latency at peak volume.
-
Apr 2022 — Oct 2023
Dow Jones Virginia and New York, USA
Java Technical Architect · Framework Creator
Client engagement via Tech Mahindra
Designed a configuration-driven backend framework adopted across multiple squads. Real-time analytics platform processing over 2 million events per hour. Promoted to architect on the strength of that integration.

04 — About
Modeling domains with soul
I have spent a decade decoding legacy systems and building the ones that replace them. I started in mechatronics, ended up in software architecture, and along the way found that the work I care about most is the work that can be passed on.
I am drawn to the philosophy of software: why one abstraction ages well and another does not, how to model a domain so the code explains the business without translation. I think refactoring is a ritual, not a backlog item.
These days I split my time between architecture for banking, development for clients I know by name, and training the people who will teach the next generation of engineers.
